Squale
PLEASE USE THE WINDOWS VERSION IF POSSIBLE
KNOWN ISSUE : the WebGL build does not work in the Itch App, only in browsers
This game is my entry for the Game Maker's Tookit 2024 Game Jam on the theme Built to Scale.
In this little 2D puzzle game, you need to encircle squares with a limited amout of growing circles (so their size is... scaling up) in order to score points. Each level gives a gold medal, but it's not always easy to get it!
Controls :
- Click on a square and hold to create a circle, release the click to validate the circle
- You can switch between holding or clicking twice
The game was made entirely in Python using Pygame (and pygbag for the WebGL build). I made all the code and visuals, and the other assets are credited below.
